This Privacy Policy explains how Drawello(“Drawello,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Drawello mobile application and our website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile details you provide.
- Images and content you upload. Photos, sketches, logos, and other images you import to use as tracing overlays.
- Camera access. Drawello uses your device camera to display the AR tracing overlay. The live camera feed is processed on your device to render the overlay and is not recorded, stored, or uploaded by us unless you explicitly choose to save an image.
- Usage and device information. App interactions, feature usage, crash logs, device model, operating system version, and a unique device identifier, collected to operate and improve the Service.
- Purchase information. When you buy a subscription, payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a confirmation of your purchase status but not your full payment card details.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its features.
- To render AR tracing overlays from the images you upload.
- To manage your account, subscriptions, and customer support requests.
- To monitor performance, diagnose crashes, and prevent abuse.
- To send service-related communications, and—where you have consented—product updates.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR applies, we process your information on the basis of: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service); your consent (e.g. camera access, optional marketing); our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service); and compliance with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g. hosting, storage, analytics, and crash reporting), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- App stores and payment processors to handle subscriptions.
- Legal and safety recipients where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Drawello and its users.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Data retention
We keep account and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. Images you delete are removed from active systems and purged from backups within a reasonable period. We retain certain records longer where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Children’s privacy
Drawello is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
